FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used in hammer shops for production of hollow parts. Forming is performed in three stages. During first stage, cylindrical initial billet is extruded from smaller stage of through cylindrical orifice of container. Note here that intermediate biller is formed with a bulged at its end. Said bulge is produced in axially symmetric pass formed by the surface of end face secured on mandrel fixed on press table and transition surface between smaller and larger stages of container orifice. During second stage, billet is swaged out. During third stage, part annular wall is formed by extruding swaged out billet. Prior to extruding the initial billet, initial sizes of axially symmetric pass are limited in axial direction by adjusting container position relative to press table position. Diametric sizes of initial billet and part are related by enclosed relationship.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished parts.
