FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutting plate has two identical opposite cutting parts made symmetrical about cutting plate main central plane, each having two identical cutting edges. Plate bottom surface has guide slot with lengthwise axis located perpendicular to the main central plane. Proposed machine tool comprises cutting plate and body with slot including guide element to interact with guide slot of cutting plate. Cutting plate is fitted in sais slot to smoothly move between retracted and extended positions driven by spring acting on cutting plate in direction towards an extended position.
EFFECT: indexed cutting plate.
