FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutting plate has lengthwise mirror surface, cutting section and long locating part having separation surface perpendicular to said mirror plane. Note here that cutting section has face surface opposite reference surface and peripheral side surface extending there between and crossing face surface over cutting edge. Reference surface has front thrust element with two face thrust surfaces arranged in symmetry at every side and inclined to lengthwise mirror plane. Note here that locating part has extending rear and mid thrust elements and lengthwise axis formed at intersection of separation surface and lengthwise mirror surface. Rear thrust element is spaced from cutting part while mid thrust element is located closer to cutting part than rear thrust element. Note here that rear thrust element has two rear thrust surfaces arranged in symmetry on every side of lengthwise mirror surface while mid thrust element has two mid thrust surfaces arranged in symmetry on every side of lengthwise mirror surface. Front and rear thrust elements are located on one side of separation plane while mid thrust element is located on opposite side. Rear and mid thrust surfaces are located at common curved surface composed of conical surface with acute vertex angle. Cutting tool comprises body with seat including thrust part and clamping part. Note here that thrust part has thrust element with thrust surfaces while clamping part has recess extending backward from thrust part and having wall, and detachable cutting plate secured in said seat. Note that face thrust surfaces adjoin the thrust surface while locating part is arranged in said recess. Note also that rear and mid thrust surfaces abut on recess wall wherein said wall is shaped to common curved surface while at least a part of locating part is surrounded by recess wall on its periphery.
