FIELD: construction, road engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to equipment for melting of snow. Highly efficient snow melting plant has hopper with one or multiple specially separated heating/air blowing devices joined to multiple combined heat-radiating tubes intended for contact with snow, ice and water, and manifold connected to pipes for additional heat exchange and for direction of heated air at snow in hopper. Terminal sections of pipes rise into upper area of hopper and have exhaust nozzles directed down and intended for preliminary heating of new snow charges. Channels for heat exchange via pipes of heated air provide for the possibility of water flowing along the route of heated air in pipes. Level of water bath at the bottom of hopper is controlled, and when pipes are covered, water is drained from hopper.
EFFECT: invention provides for increased efficiency factor of plant.
