FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: two perpendicular axes (x and y) are set in plane of substrate, and the third axis, z, or inlet axis, is set as perpendicular to plane of substrate. Motions of two weights along axis x are related by means of electrostatic interaction so that frequencies of own resonance of in-phase vibration and antiphased vibration do not match with each other for resonances along axis x. When two weights are put into vibrational motion along axis x in antiphase, and device rotates around axis z, Coriolis forces affect differently the weights in Y-direction, causing oscillation of these two weights in antiphased wave along axis y, which may be detected directly with the help of speed sensor to measure speed of rotation around axis z.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to eliminate mechanical adhesion between vibrating weights.
