SUBSTANCE: access media gateway limits call of subscriber connected to it and acting as calling party or called party. At the access media gateway there is a description of various overload levels and calls with high priority, processing of which is guaranteed with according levels of overload. Access media gateway receives call of subscriber acting as calling party or called party, identifies level of overload in case its own overload has been detected, detects whether there is call available with high priority, processing of which is guaranteed at this overload level. If call has high priority, and its processing is guaranteed at this level of overload, this call is processed in compliance with ordinary process of calls processing; otherwise the call is declined.
EFFECT: reduced overload of access media gateway.
