FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology and cardiosurgery. Synchronous registration of electrocardiogram and measurement of oxygen consumption are carried out in examined patient at state of rest and physical loading. Before loading by means of echocardiography stroke volume (SV) is measured, after that maximum stroke volume of heart (SVmax) is calculated by special equation. On electrocardiogram duration of each electromechanical systole (EMS) and duration of corresponding to it cardiocycle (RR) are measured; by obtained rows of EMS and RR measurements by method of least squares linear equation coefficients are calculated. By equation coefficients minimal duration of heart contraction (interval RRmin) is calculated by special equation. Obtained value RRmin is converted into maximum rate of heart beat using special formula. By obtained values SVmax and RHBmax potential maximum heart performance "МОКП"(max), is calculated.

EFFECT: method allows to obtain individual evaluation of cardio-vascular system in definite examined patient and determine maximal heart performance at maximum parametres of its work - maximal heart rate and maximum stroke volume value, which is necessary for evaluation of potential reserves of the cardio-vascular system.
