FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology. Body weight is measured. Heart weight is calculated taking into account age, sex and cardio-vascular pathology. Heart rate, stroke volume, systolic arterial pressure, pressure in cavity of right ventricle (RV) are measured. By original mathematical formulas with application of obtained physiological parameters calculated is total number of cardiomyocytes (CMC), oxygen consumption by single CMC, number of all CMC, number of working and non-working CMC.
EFFECT: method is simple, available, makes it possible to estimate dynamics of change in number of working and hiberinating cardiomyocytes under impact of therapeutic measures.
