FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, oncology and can be used in case of pleura affection with tumor. For this purpose during operation photosensitiser or its precursor is introduced intravenously. After maximal accumulation of photosensitiser in tumor cells of pleura, thoracoscopy is carried out in conditions of defunctionalising lung located on the operation side from respiration process and its collapse. At least in one position into centre of pleural cavity diffuser is installed. Even laser radiation of visceral and parietal pleura is performed via diffuser.
EFFECT: method allows to combine in one procedure and under conditions of single narcosis diagnostic and medical procedures, carry out PDT with even dose of laser radiation for all sections of affected pleura, accurately calculate dose of laser radiation, use any of available photosensitisers, achieve clinical remission and prevent development of specific pleurisy.
