FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology and equipment for preparation of loose materials mixtures with high heterogeneity of particles in size and density in chemical, food, microbiological, construction materials and other industries. Method for mixing of loose materials consists in supply of materials into rotary drum, organisation of falling particles flow in it with their transverse motion in flow and discharge of mixture, in cross section of falling particles flow a row of circulating contours of particles mixing is organised as arranged along drum with opposite direction of circulation in adjacent contours. Device for mixing of loose materials represents a rotary drum with units of charging and discharging, mounted on its ends, and nozzle of rotary drum comprising system of lifting blades fixed on inner surface of drum, and diverging elements fixedly installed in horizontal plane in parallel rows symmetrically to its axis and arranged in the form of funnels with inclined chutes, and rotary plate fixed on adjacent edges of parallel row funnels. Diverging elements are combined into groups serially arranged along drum, every of which comprises equal number of elements in lifting and lowering parts of drum. At the same time chute of each element is directed towards one of group elements adjacent to it, and chutes of elements in adjacent groups form contours with opposite direction of chutes.

EFFECT: proposed method and device provide for increased homogeneity of loose materials mixture made of particles of various size and density.
