FIELD: crushing or grinding of various materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grinding of solid materials and can be used in construction, chemical, metallurgical and other industries related to grinding of dispersed materials. Device for grinding dispersed materials comprises rotating horizontal cylindrical housing 1 loaded with grinding bodies 2, inside which there is a unit for separation of grinding bodies and ground material. From opposite ends of cylindrical housing assemblies are mounted for supply 3 of initial and unloading of crushed material, at that, lifting blades 6 are fixed on the inner surface of the housing, and a grinding-separating nozzle consisting of rough chute 7 is fixed in the axial zone. Above the rough slope with the possibility of adjusting the gap there is a conveyor with rough belt 8, and under the lower edge of the slope there are two parallel rows fixed deflecting elements 9 directed in adjacent rows to opposite ends of the housing. Grinding bodies 2 have polydisperse granulometric composition. In the method, which consists in feeding the material into the shear flow of grinding bodies 2, having a predominantly spherical shape, and separating the mixture in order to separate the crushed material from grinding bodies 2, shear flow of grinding bodies is formed in said device on rough chute 7, installed at an angle close to angle of natural slope of mixture, with additional activation of shear deformations in flow with longitudinal pulses.

EFFECT: device and method provide possibility of control of degree and homogeneity of grinding.
