FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to procedure of accumulator batteries charging and may be used to maintain various accumulator batteries in charged condition in radio-electronic devices, sources of automatic devices supply, and also in automobile equipment. In the first version of method for charging accumulator, including charging of accumulator, monitoring accumulator charge state, interruption of charging process by charging current switch on completion of accumulator charging process, monitoring of accumulator charge state is carried out in process of its charging by means of introduction of ultrasonic probing pulses having passed through electrolyte through side surfaces of accumulator along its plates at one side and reception at the other side, received ultrasonic probing pulses are monitored at receiving piezoelectric element, and when number of passed probing pulses becomes at least 20, process of accumulator charging is interrupted. In the second version of accumulator charging method, as number of passed probing pulses becomes at least 20, process of accumulator charging is interrupted, and in a specified interval of time making at least 30 minutes, process of charging is recovered.

EFFECT: provides for monitoring of accumulator charging, making it possible to fully charge accumulator in automatic mode, without interruption of charging process, and elimination of its recharge.
