FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for solid joint of parts with lengthwise and closed circular seams. Rotary welding tool probe 5 is introduced into joint zone to produce welding force and moved along joint line to make welding zone. Said probe represents consumable rod made from material with ductility at welding zone temperature corresponds to that of welded parts. Above said welding zone, probe is cooled to temperature whereat probe material preserves its hardness and strength. Mainly, said probe is made from material corresponding to material of parts to be welded together. Welding tool comprises body 6 with cavity 7 and support collar 7 with hole receiving probe 5 to axially therein. To cool probe down, body cavity accommodates coolant 13, for example gas, water etc, cooled to low temperature. Heat-insulation gasket 11 is arranged between body and collar.
EFFECT: seams with no pores, uniform and long seam, multiple use of welding tool, ease of probe replacement, simplified and efficient procedure.
