METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE ONSET OF ICP IN CHILDREN OF THE FIRST 3 MONTHS OF LIFE WITH CNS PERINATAL AFFECTION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/476 A61B5/26

Abstract RU 2710218 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely neurology and paediatrics, and can be used in predicting development of infantile cerebral palsy (ICP) in full-term children of the first three months of life. That is ensured by assessing Apgar asphyxia in points, degree of manifestation of brain bioelectric activity in points: moderate cerebral changes – 0 points, pronounced cerebral changes – 1 point, Doppler parameters: average blood flow velocity in systole by mean cerebral artery (MCA) and blood flow velocity in direct sine (DS). Obtained absolute values are substituted into original calculation formula calculating probability of ICP. If z≤0.5, ICP is predicted in full-term child.

EFFECT: method enables early assessment of motor development disorder in children with perinatal hypoxic cerebral lesions with simultaneous simplification of the method by excluding invasive procedures.
