FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises crankshaft with its crank journal accommodating crossarm linked by con rod with piston and, by, tie rod with camshaft journal. Said shaft is furnished with DC motor drive with planetary train to vary compression ratio. Dog-driven freewheel clutch is arranged in shaft drive between planetary mechanism and is housing. Dog has edge ledges arranged in slots nearby locking elements of freewheel clutch.
EFFECT: simplified camshaft drive.
