FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method includes the following stages: connection of traction device with transport vehicle behind screening door and opening of screening door; towing of transport vehicle into tunnel of radiation by traction device and closure of screening door. When transport vehicle enters radiation zone, there X-rays are generated by accelerators, transport vehicle is towed through zone of radiation by traction device to provide for radiation of logs loaded onto specified transport vehicle, afterwards X-ray unit is switched off; opening of screening door, separation of transport vehicle from radiation tunnel by means of traction device and disconnection of traction device from transport vehicle. Device includes screening structure, tunnel arranged in screening structure, rail laid along tunnel, accelerators that surround tunnel, and traction device for towing of transport vehicle that bears goods for quarantine treatment, at the same time accelerators include multiple accelerators symmetrically installed on both sides and in upper part of radiation zone in tunnel in cross section perpendicular to direction of tunnel driving.

EFFECT: radiation according to this invention does not depend in ambient air temperature, is performed quickly, is safe and reliable and does not contaminate environment.
