FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method includes the following stages: separation of logs; leveling of the separated logs, end connection; moving of the separated and end-connected aside, then longitudinally; passing of the logs through the radiation field generated by accelerators when traveling longitudinally to process by electronic beams. And the accelerators are centrally symmetrical relative to the log travel direction with the irradiated log ejected aside. The device comprises a log conveyor, a shielding assembly surrounding the conveyor, and the accelerators arranged on the log travel way by the conveyor wherein at least two accelerators centrally symmetrical relative to the log travel way are mounted.

EFFECT: invention provides safety and efficiency of quarantine treatment as it is not limited by ambient temperature, does not pollute environment and is easily managed.
