FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of composite materials with a metal matrix and can be used in the production of structures operating at normal and high temperatures, such as power structures of aircraft, compressor and fan blades of aircraft gas turbine engines, etc. Method involves assembling a stack of alternating layers of an alloy of a matrix and carbon fibre coated with copper or nickel, the stack is heated to temperature exceeding melting point by not more than 100 °C is higher than the eutectic melting point in the Ti-Cu or Ti-Ni systems, depending on the coating material, then pressure is applied to the workpiece, which is accompanied by eutectic melting and fibre impregnation with the obtained melt.

EFFECT: method of producing composites with a titanium matrix and carbon fibre, which would exclude preliminary formation of an intermediate matrix.
