FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing coatings with an intermetallic structure of powder materials with high adhesion strength. Method includes layer-by-layer deposition of components by GDCS method by sputtering of at least two layers. One layer consists of one metal of intermetallic composition, and second layer consists of another metal of selected intermetallic composition. Due to variation of speed and scanning pitch, thickness of each layer is formed such that in any cross-section of said two layers of coating chemical composition corresponds to stoichiometric composition of created intermetallic compound. Then, local fusion of the coating with a scanning laser beam is performed, which is followed by formation of an intermetallic coating of a given chemical composition upon hardening.
EFFECT: obtaining intermetallic coating with controlled structure.
