FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: casting aggregate consists of pair of casting rollers (22) arranged horizontally and adjacent to each other forming a gap for continuous metal strip casting. A drive mechanism consists of engines (320, 330) rotating casting rollers (22) by means of driven shafts (311, 312) in opposite directions. At rotation a mechanism of control can vary angle of centring between casting rollers (22) to reduce effect of eccentricity of casting rollers on shape of strip profile. Feedback signals (371) from sensor (370) enter mechanism of control (340). The mechanism of control registers changes of strip thickness profile coming from casting rollers (22). Additional signals (351, 361) enter the mechanism of control and reflect angle positions ω1 and ω2 of the casting rollers. Signals (351, 361) come from sensors (350, 360) recording angular positions of driven shafts (311, 312).
EFFECT: reduced deviations of cast strip thickness from required.
