FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to continuous metal casting. In compliance with this invention, two transducers are connected to, at lest, one end of, at least, one pair of forming rolls or pair of brushes for continuous measurement of, at least, two force-related parameters in casting process. At least, two signals are generated in time interval corresponding to measured force-related parameters. Signals in said time interval are continuously tracked and converted in appropriate spectra in frequency band. Said spectra are analysed to compute intensity components from intensity levels of, at least, a portion of frequency component signals within the bounds of frequency spectra. In response to said signals casting parameters are corrected for decreasing strip flaws.
EFFECT: higher quality.
