FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: new object is identified in optical data transfer hierarchy (ODTH), mentioned as optical channel data unit-0 (OCDU0) with capacity of approximately 1.22 Gb/s. This new object is ideally suitable for existing structure of ODTH multiplexing, which makes it possible to twice transfer the client level signal Ethernet 1 Gb/s within the limits of one OCDU0, being at the same time separately switched. Signal Ethernet 1 Gb/s may be displayed into useful load of OCDU0 with application of method for incapsulation of frames formation transparent basic procedure (FFTBP).

EFFECT: increased throughput capacity of optical network Ethernet.
