SUBSTANCE: cathode represents multi-layered gradient porous structure with porosity of up to 40%, and it includes structural metal base of electrode with gas-diffusion layer, for example nickel grid with pressed-on tetrafluoroethylene, on the reverse side of which there applied is active cathode mass including nano-dimensional electrocatalyst containing manganese oxide in the form of nano-particles on porous carrier. Active mass usually includes black pigment Ketjen Black as porous carbon carrier with specific surface of 600-1500 m2/g.
EFFECT: high tolerance to borohydride of alkali metal.
