FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: compound is applied by dipping insulation of end winding of traction electric machine. A segment of insulation of the end winding of the traction electric machine is periodically immersed into a tank with compound during rotation of the machine. Simultaneously, impregnated with compound insulation of the end winding of the rotating traction electric machine is heated by means of infra-red radiators installed in an infra-red exciter along perimeter of middle circumference of the end winding of the traction electric machine.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of capsulation of insulation of end winding of traction electric machines, reduced power consumption and reduced time of process.
