FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical machine building, particularly, to production and repair of electric machines (EM), for example, polymer insulation of fingers of brackets of brush holders. Drying of finger insulation is carried out in two steps: direct drying of polymer insulation of uniformly rotating finger with incoherent infrared (IR) radiation on entire surface, including end part due to reflection of infrared rays from rotary mirror, polishing of the side surface of the finger by directed coherent radiation emitted by the infrared laser, which linearly moves along the axis of rotation of the finger. Device for implementation of combined drying method consists of housing with elements for impregnation, drying and polishing of insulating finger, worm gearbox with attachment fixture, mechanism of longitudinal movement of laser and is intended for implementation of combined method of polymers insulation of fingers of brackets of brush holders of electric machines by incoherent and coherent infrared radiation. Into housing there installed is vessel with impregnating material, intended for application of insulation varnish on surface of thumb of brush holder bracket, a ceramic infrared radiator with adjusting screws for preheating and drying, a rotary mirror for baking the end portion of the finger, a polishing device in form of an infrared laser, attachment cartridge intended for installation of an insulating pin arranged on a worm wheel axis, which is uniformly rotated in engagement with a worm from an electric motor, mechanism for longitudinal movement of laser, which includes feeding screw, movable lath, guide rails and electric motor, intended for movement of infrared laser without deviations along axis of rotating pin.
EFFECT: invention shall increase indices of electric strength and tracking-resistance of a finger surface.
