FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Catalytic thermal power station with vapor cycle comprises vapor-liquid work medium loop consisting of catalytic reactor communicated with turbo expander inlet and that of high-pressure first stage, heat exchanger, bypass switch, air condenser and generator. Catalytic reactor consists of housing, steam generator made up of tubular coils, heat-generating catalytic element, waste-heat release tube and fuel-air mix feed system. Note here that catalytic element comprises radiation-convective IR heat-generating elements arranged in aforesaid housing and representing parallel sections with their lateral surfaces representing plates made from magnetic cellular high-permeability material. Note here that gas generator once-through coils are arranged between sections on outer side of every plate. Note also that a part of once-through coil is arranged in gas generator economiser section.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, improved ecology, possibility to operate on various types of gaseous and fluid fuel.
