FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: composition comprises liquid filling composition and the chewing gum section embracing the liquid filling composition. The chewing gum section contains polyol composition containing at least one polyol and having water solubility less than 72 wt %. under 25°C. The liquid filling composition contains crystalline sorbite in the amount of 10-35 wt %. and hydrogenated starch hydrolysate in the in the amount of 58-83 wt %. The composition can also comprise the cover section which surrounds or covers the chewing gum section.
EFFECT: invention allows for the production of chewing gum with filling which keeps its liquid body in the course of manufacturing and throughout the shelf life without migration of the liquid.
