FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, namely to production of biologically active substances and may be used to develop food products of functional purpose, rich in food fibres. Red currant biologically active food complement is foam removed from squeezed juice of redcurrant and dried at the temperature of not more than 50°C. Biologically active supplement includes nutritious substances, food fibres, organic acids, vitamins, macro- and microelements, ash and water at certain ratio of components.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce supplement with high (more than 25 wt %) content of food fibres.
