FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular - to production of dietary supplements and can be used for development of foods rich in dietary fibbers. The red currant dietary supplement is produced of refuses remaining after black currant berries juicing, dried at a temperature of no more than 50°C and pulverised. The dietary supplement thus produced contains nutrients, dietary fibres, organic acids, vitamins, macro- and microelements, ashes and water in a specific ratio.
EFFECT: invention enables production of a red currant dietary supplement noted for high content of dietary fibbers (43-49 wt %).
