FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to plasma inactivation of microorganisms on the surface of thermolabile materials under atmospheric pressure and can be used for sterilisation or disinfection of polymer, textile, paper and other materials. A sterilised thermolabile material is exposed to non-equilibrium low-temperature plasma jet under atmospheric pressure generated by transmitting air flow at 30-70 m/s through a zone of steady-state glow discharge generated in gaps at the air vent of a gas-discharge chamber. The gaps are formed by blade anodes and pin cathodes opposite to edges of the anode blades turned to the vent of the gas-discharge chamber.
EFFECT: invention allows simplifying the sterilisation process of thermolabile materials under atmospheric pressure with cost reduction.
