FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fishing industry and can be used for artificial reproduction of valuable fish species, in particular the sturgeons, as well as to create cryobanks with samples of genetic material. Method of improvement of survival rate of germinal cells of sturgeons at cryopreservation includes sperm dilution with protector, equilibration, freezing with step regime, thawing. What is new is that just before the equilibration a rectangular electrical signal stimulating is carried out with frequency of 20 hertz with an amplitude of stimulus of 150 mV for 1 min, and removing the protector from the cells after defrosting with a solution of NaCl (6.5 g/l) in a ratio 1:1 is held for 7 minutes.
EFFECT: improvement of quality of defrosted sperm of sturgeons.
