FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: restricting closed loop with a concentric test point object of identical configuration is presented on a video monitor. The test object is enlarged at preset speed to simulate its movement towards to a person being tested. At the moment of estimated conjunction of the dimensions of the restricting closed loop and the test object, the person being tested press "Stop" button to stop diametre increase of the test object. Then a mismatch error of the diametres of the test object and restricting loop is calculated that is a delay error time with a positive sign or an advance error time with a negative sign and in preset time, the restricting closed loop with the concentric test object of initial size and configuration is presented to the person being tested. Thereafter, moving object response time Tr is calculated as an arithmetical mean by formula: where ti is i-th delay error time with a positive sign or advance error time with a negative sign, ms; n - is a number of tests.
EFFECT: technique allows determining moving object response time.
