FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be implemented at non-ferrous metallurgy. Liquid waste of magnesium casting are collected in tank 1, directed to metering tank 3 with mixer 4, and further supplied to furnace chamber 6. Liquid waste is burned in furnace chamber 6 with natural gas and oxygen. Produced furnace gases are mixed in pipeline 12 with fumes of magnesium production at volume ratio furnace gases to fumes 1:(0,05-0,09). Produced mixture at temperature 105-150 °C is supplied into a scrubber 13 for neutralistion with lime milk.
EFFECT: efficient combined utilisation and neutralisation of fumes and liquid waste of magnesium production, reduced corrosion of equipment.
