SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the field of wood working, namely to devices for preparation of stocks prior to bending and pressing operation. At the first stage stocks with moisture of not more than 30% are impregnated in autoclave by aqueous solution of carbamide with concentration from 10 to 30% without heating for 60…180 minutes and at the pressure of 0.3…0.5 MPa depending on their section. Further stocks are soaked at the temperature of 16…22°C for 24 hours. Directly prior to bending operation, stocks are separately hydraulically insulated with the help of polyethylene or other film and are submerged into boiling water for 5…30 minutes depending on thickness. Due to hydraulic insulation, plasticiser is not washed out from stocks.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to produce stocks with bending radius ratio to thickness up to 6/1 and with compaction value of 20…40% in process of pressing.
