FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: examination of patient is carried out, their blood serum is analysed, content of peptide-bound (PO) and free (FO) oxyproline is determined. After that value of diagnostic coefficient is calculated by formula C=FO/PO. If C < 10 onychodystrophy with slow development of onycholysis is diagnosed, if C > 10 onychodystrophy with fast development of onycholysis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: possibility to carry out differential diagnostics of onychodystrophy with slow or fast development of onycholysis with high degree of reliability.
