FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing wastes with a reagent (2 types), exposure of the obtained mixture for carrying out the deodourisation reaction. The first type reagent used is a composition of hydrates of hydrooxo-amino acid compounds of copper (2+) of formula CuLOH, which is added to the wastes in amount of 0.03-10% of the weight of the mixture. The second type reagent used is an aqueous solution of a mixture of chlorine oxidants with the following ratio of components: molecular chlorine 90-95%; chlorine dioxide 3-7%; not more than 3% ozone; the reagent is dissolved in water in ratio of 0.5-2.0 g/l in amount of 1-6 g of gas per ton of wet wastes. The wastes are kept at least 35% moist before mixing with the reagent. The wastes are mixed with the reagent until the reagent is uniformly distributed in the mass and the obtained mixture is exposed for 2-48 hours, after which the deodourised wastes are moistened to 15-20%.
EFFECT: disclosed methods are easy and cheap to implement, do not require complex equipment and reagents, effective reduction or complete elimination of bad smell of a wide range of organic wastes.
