FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antler reindeer breeding, in particular to methods of simultaneous preservation of antlers in various weight categories used in pharmaceutical industry. Substance of method consists in the fact that antlers in process of hanging on rack are classified into three groups by girth value of the main antler stem between the second and third branch, at the same time each group of antlers is arranged on a single rack and has its own immersion ratio. At the same time boiling of antlers group with stem girth of 12-15 cm is done by means of 7-fold immersion. Boiling of antlers with stem girth of 16-18 cm and 19-21 cm by means of 8- and 9-fold immersion, accordingly. Heat drying is carried out in a more sparing mode.
EFFECT: method application makes it possible to do simultaneous preservation of antlers in different weight categories with higher quality of finished product.
