FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. Proposed brake comprises brake main line, air control valve, spare tank, brake cylinder, brake shoe control lever transmission and compensating load brake mounted on car frame to interact, by its bearing, with bogie side member plate. Stepped brake cylinder consists of different-diametre inner spaces. Said spaces house pistons rigidly fixed on common rod to interact, on one side, with brake shoe control lever transmission and, on the other side, with brake cylinder barrel via compression spring. Every cylinder head-end spaces are communicated with atmosphere, while rod-end spaces are communicated, via pipelines, with channels made in compensating load brake housing arranged on car frame so that their lengthwise axes are aligned with those of the other channels made in the same housing by pipelines connected to air control valve pipeline. Compensating load brake housing accommodates spring-loaded plunger with groove in its lower part moves inside said housing in its vertical chamber. Plunger interacts via beating with bogie side member plate when loaded car moves vertically.
EFFECT: simplified design of cars equipped with compensating load brake.
