FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: device contains detector (11) recording cabin lift speed. The detector includes device (13) for overspeed detection and for electric control of braking device. For reliable recording lift cabin movement speed there are two wheels (9) provided which butt against guiding rail (2). Rotation speed of each wheel (9) is recorded independently from detectors (11). The device (13) invokes rapid braking in case when one of the detectors (11) informs about excessive speed. Both wheels (9) may be positioned on both sides of guiding rail (2) on pivotally mounted balance-beam (10), which is eccentrically pressed by spring (15).
EFFECT: invention provides higher reliability of lift cabin braking.
