FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-resistant glasing. The fire-resistant glasing is made from glass sheets and layers of intumescent material based on hydrated silicates of alkali metals. In the glasing, the number of sheets may be equal to the number of intumescent layers, wherein the glasing includes at least two structures formed from two joined layers and at least the same number of intermediate sheets as the number of structures from joined layers minus one. Maximum thickness of the glass sheets is equal to 4 mm. In an alternative version of the glasing, the number of glass sheets is greater than the number of intumescent layers, wherein the number of glass sheets is equal to the number of intumescent layers having thickness equal to a maximum of 2.5 mm.
EFFECT: improved mechanical properties of the fire-resistant glasing while retaining airtightness and resistance from fire for 30, 90 or 120 minutes.
