FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-resistant glass. The fire-resistant glasing contains at least one expansible layer based on an alkali silicate hydrate enclosed between glass sheets. One of the sheets has a composition for filtering off ultraviolet rays and contains cerium oxide in amount of 0.2-1 wt %. Said glass sheet does not transmit over 20% of rays with wavelength equal to or shorter than 345 nm.
EFFECT: reduced transparency of the glasing for a long period of time under conditions of strong ultraviolet radiation.
