SUBSTANCE: supply openings of afterburning air are slot-type and arranged in bottom coverings of primary furnaces parallel to slot-type supply openings of lighting-up air and separated from them with partitions with width Bpartition=(0.05-0.35)·Bprimary furnace; separating walls are installed above partitions and restricted with height Hwalls=(0.05-0.45)·Hprimary furnace; gas supply tubes are lifted above bottom coverings of primary furnaces to height Hgas=(0.50-0.85)·Hprimary furnace, and axes of gas outlet nozzles are turned relative to horizontal symmetry planes of gas supply tubes through angle γ=10°-40°, where Bprimary furnace and Hprimary furnace are inner dimensions of width and height of primary furnace, m, respectively.
EFFECT: reducing the temperature in gas ignition primary furnaces and enlarging their operating period between repairs at reduction of concentration of nitrogen oxides in combustion products.
