FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: method for increasing gyroscopic moment is aimed at increasing the inertia moment radius owing to decreasing the distance between centres of gravity of loads along rotation axis. Shape of loads in the form of wings creates aerodynamic force in addition to centrifugal force. Device for implementation of the method for increasing gyroscopic moment represents centrifugal accumulator of kinetic and potential energy, which has big value of gyroscopic moment and power input. It is reached owing to forced creation of precession of ends of its rotation axis with angular speed equal to angular speed of this rotation axis, location and trajectory of movement of movable loads made in the form of aerodynamic wings.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing gyroscopic moment, specific power input of accumulator and decreasing its specific weight.
