FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: in peer-to-peer network one or more overload events are detected, which imply overload in the network. In addition, one or more events without overload are detected, which imply no overload in the network. When unit detects occurrence of one or more detected overload events, unit increases range between packs of protocol without establishing a connection (for instance, UDP), which are sent by unit. When unit detects occurrence of one or more detected events without overload, unit decreases range between packs of protocol without establishing a connection, which are sent by unit.
EFFECT: maximisation of throughput capacity together with minimisation of packets loss.
