FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to field of medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery and can be used for elimination of lagophthalmos in case of paresis and paralysis of mimic musculature of congenital and acquired character, as well as defects of one or both eyelids, which appeared as a result of face trauma or burns, oncological or other surgical intervention. Essence of method lies in sewing flap from auricle into eyelid cut on palpebral fold. As flap from auricle used is cutaneous-adipose- cartilageous flap with weight 0.9-1.4 g, cut out on posterior surface of auricle in projection of navicular cartilage, on whose cartilage plate applied are cuts in order to create form and relief. Flap is fixed to tarsal cartilage, flap skin being sewn with eyelid skin.
EFFECT: application of invention allows to increase organ-preserving functional and esthetic effect.
