FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to production of granules from metals and alloys with preset sizes and weight for their subsequent remelting. Proposed method comprises loading the mix into hopper, producing liquid metal bath on copper crucible surface and gradual remelting of loose mix components by independent heater representing electron-beam guns, and discharging produced melt into crystalliser-granulator. Using CaF2-based flux which, prior to producing metal bath, is filled into the copper crucible center, heated therein and, proceeding from its glow, electron-beam trajectory is adjusted accurately along the surface of wall accretion, while for preventing crust formation, said flux is filled onto discharge channel node.
EFFECT: accurate adjustment of electron-beam trajectory, ruling of copper crucible burning.
