FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transport and aims at perfecting the method of adjusting AC voltage auxiliary generator of diesel locomotive. Proposed method comprises AC voltage generator self excites, voltage from its output is fed via one controlled rectifier to input of said generator excitation winding and, via the other controlled rectifier, to input of traction generator excitation winding. Voltage comes from the output of AC voltage auxiliary generator via bridge rectifier to supply circuits of the locomotive onboard circuits. Voltage is measured and normalised, onboard circuit voltage setting is generated and compared said setting with measured and normalised magnitudes. Result of comparison is sent to input of pulse-phase control system and control inputs of controlled rectifier incorporates with AV voltage auxiliary generator excitation winding.

EFFECT: simplified control circuitry.
