FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system comprises fuel tank, fuel heater with temperature control device, low-pressure fuel pump, electrically-driven cutoff valve, high-pressure fuel pump, pressure pickup, high-pressure accumulator, electrically-driven pressure control valve, fuel cooler, electrohydraulic nozzles with boosters and ball-type hydraulic control valves, low-temperature air radiator, low-pressure accumulator incorporated with the fuel drain system that maintains fuel pressure, approximately, three times as low compared with fuel pressure in high-pressure accumulator in all operating conditions of diesel engine. Proposed device differs from known devices in that high-pressure pipeline communicates lower-pressure accumulator to high-pressure fuel pump second stage suction valve chamber. Note also that high-pressure two-stage pump is used in diesel engine fuel feed system.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption of high-pressure fuel pump drive.
