FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel systems of diesel engines. Proposed accumulator fuel system of diesel engine consists of fuel tank, fuel heater with thermostat, fuel fine filter, low-pressure fuel pump, cutoff electric valve, high-pressure fuel pump, pressure transmitter, high-pressure accumulator, pressure control electric valve, fuel cooler, electrohydraulic nozzles with step-up gears and ball hydraulic control valves and low-temperature air radiator. Fuel feed system is additionally furnished with low-pressure accumulator included into nozzle fuel return system and divided into two parts with restrictor placed in between. Return pipes from nozzles are connected to first part of low-pressure accumulator. Second part of low-pressure accumulator is connected through pressure control electric valve to fuel return system. fuel pressure in high-pressure accumulator under all operating conditions is maintained three-fold higher, as compared with pressure in low-pressure accumulator.
EFFECT: increased response of nozzles at cutoff, reduced fuel consumption for control, improved reliability and increased service life of nozzles of diesel engines with electromagnetic control.
