SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to hepatology and X-ray diagnostics, and aims at differential diagnosis of hepatic disorders. It involves three-program ultrasound elastometry dependent on hepatic diffuse or focal process behaviour. The diffuse process suspected requires elastometry in four regions of various hepatic segments to acquire average data, and if observing the average elastometry data 6.5 to 10.2 kPa, the presence of the diffuse chronic process with no cirrhosis is concluded. If micronodular or mixed cirrhosis suspected, elastometry is carried out in four hepatic regions: 2 regions of the greatest and smallest echo-density, as well as in the perifocal areas of these regions at a distance of 60 mm to 10 mm from the region boundaries, if observing the average elastometry data 15 to 35 kPa in the regions of the greatest and smallest echo-density and within 10 to 28 kPa in the perifocal areas, the presence of micronodular cirrhosis is stated. Three regions are measured with elastometry when suspecting metastatic focal nature, including: focal centre and two variously arranged perifocal areas at a distance of 60 mm and 10 mm from the focal boundaries, metastatic process is indicated by the acquired average elastometry data 15 to 75 kPa in the focus and 3.4 to 5.9 kPa in the perifocal regions.

EFFECT: technique provides higher accuracy of differential diagnostics of diffuse and focal hepatic disorders.
